Home / About and work with RMK
Help small businesses grow, and grow with them.
RMK Industries builds skills, businesses and local shops in places that are often left out. Mentors, facilitators, assessors and apprentices are the people behind every business we support.
Who we are
A Limpopo business, growing businesses across South Africa
We help township and rural entrepreneurs, shop owners and learners get the skills, money and markets they need. Three apps work together for you:
RMK Institute
Accredited QCTO qualifications in retail, sales and business, taught close to home.
Super Deal Maker
Business plans, mentors and the funders and big buyers that match a business like yours.
RMK Retail
Fair prices on groceries and shop stock, so local shops can compete.
Our vision
Thriving local economies where every entrepreneur has the tools, money and people to build a business that lasts.
Our mission
Open up business opportunities with technology, so township and rural entrepreneurs can compete, grow and change their communities from within.
Four ways to take part
What you give, and what you gain
You give six sessions over 12 months, a second diagnosis, a plan and progress reports.
You gain a lasting impact on a business that is already organised, and paid work.
You give five-day training weeks, mostly face to face, and you mark the final submissions.
You gain paid weeks in your own area, with lessons and materials ready.
You give your judgement on a panel that scores learners' presentations. Scores are averaged.
You gain paid panel days and a clear scoring screen.
You give hands-on work setting up a client's business with them.
You gain real experience, an income and a path to consulting.
